For the Love of Dance
We are proud to be a host studio for Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet's "Dance With Us" program! This program gives local dancers aged 6-17 the opportunity to dance on stage with professionals from all across the globe!
REGISTRATION
All dancers who are interested in auditioning for Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet must first register at nutcracker.com/elpasocast.
There is a one time registration fee of $80 charged by Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet at time of registration which covers the cost of weekly rehearsals, your dancer's costume rental, and the costume cleaning fee.

How old does my dancer need to be to audition?
Dancers must turn 6 years old by the audition date

Does my dancer need to be enrolled at your studio?
No! We welcome students of any skill levels from all over the city to audition.

When are rehearsals?
Rehearsals vary based on role. Dancers may have rehearsals scheduled Friday evenings or Saturday afternoons.

When do rehearsals begin?
There is a mandatory rehearsal the weekend of auditions and weekly rehearsals start one week after auditions. We will not rehearse on Halloween or during the Thanksgiving weekend.

Is there an attendance policy?
Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet permits one (1) missed rehearsal with prior notice. More than one absence will result in your child being removed from the program.

Where are rehearsals held?
All weekly rehearsals will be held at For the Love of Dance (7930 N. Mesa St. B-9)

Which show will my child be in/Will my child participate in all the performances?
Dancers are placed into their roles and performance times by the audition director the day of the audition. Dancers may be asked to do one, two, or three shows. You will know your child's role and performance day/time by the end of day on the 18th.
Please do not purchase show tickets until the master cast list has been posted. Tickets cannot be transferred.
The audition director's decisions are final.

Do I need to purchase a costume?
No, Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet will provide costumes to the dancers on their performance day. Costumes will be returned prior to dismissal.
​
However, dancers will be asked to arrive in a "uniform" that will be worn under the borrowed costumes.
